Discovering that the back of the box was too harsh an environment for the amp, it was decided to put the amp on the drop-down armrest in the back seat instead. This is what the simple rack started off as.
After some test fitting and tinkering, the panel fit nicely and we mounted the amp to it. Carpeted in simple stretch black.
Here's the rack in the car. Simple and clean, and far enough away from the enclosure that its not going to get damaged.
Here's the back of drop down. To prevent the screw points from poking through the plastic and damaging the leather armrest, we made a matching simple panel for the back. Might get creative and do a raised panel logo of some kind....waiting to see what Ken comes up with for this Razor.
