Big "3" Upgrade
The Big "3" Upgrade was a must to let the GTP's 105 amp alternator run at its full potential for the new Visonik amp.

The only solid chassis ground that was anywhere near being accessible was the main strut tower mount at the top.
To get the 4 guage to it, we opened up a hole in the strut brace, installed a grommet and fed the cable through.
Here you can see the ground wire come up through the strut tower brace and bolt down to the main chassis.
Note the use of factory style rosebud clips to hold the power wire bundle in place on the fender.
Here's a shot of the alternator with the engine cover removed. This is one of the key upgrades to the electrical system.
Note the stock puny 12 guage wire from the alternator to the starter (you can just see it below the 4 guage).
Here's the install finished up. Note the gold top and sideposts are installed. The sound system power wire now goes right to the battery, as well as the alternator output.
