New 3.4" Supercharger Pulley Swap
Custom Fender-wall Intake (FWI)

We already had the factory airbox (which housed the (PCM) removed, and this is what it looked like before any work.
Here's the topside of the intake cleaned up.
We took a piece of standard black 3" PVC pipe and sanded, primered, painted and cleared our way to a tube that you would NEVER guess was plastic. Up close you'd never tell!
Inside the fender, a support brace gave its life to make room for the intake tubing.
To retain strength, we made a new support with simple backstrap, and it turned out to be stronger than the original!

Here's a shot inside the fender from the wheelwell (with inner fender liner removed).
You can see the path where the filter is going to go.
We will haveto remove this liner to service the K&N filter from now on.

The PCM needed a new home, so we supported it with foam tape to isolate it from the floorpan.
Simple brackets made of backstrap tied the corners of the PCM to the floor with self-tappers.
Nothing too fancy, but no other option in this case.

Yes, those are 3" PVC plumbing components! This is a well-known upgrade in the supercharged Grand Prix forums.
Right to spec, we created a flange to clamp the K&N to and set it together.
A lot of dremel work was done to make these pieces fit perfectly.

Here's the lower section of the intake. Right down inside the fender where high pressure, cold air can be pulled.
With the inner fender liner re-installed, this is completely hidden, so no further finishing was required.
