With the demise of the Rockford Fosgate BD1000d (rest in peace), we made some serious amplifier upgrades and figured, we may aswell do the subs while we're at it.
"We snapped up a set of Kicker Solobaric S12L5's and ordered a Visonik V718XD amp to power them".

A shot of the inards. All 12 awg speaker wiring and you can see the terminal cup was screwed in and then completely sealed with a half-gallon of silicone.
The Optima Red Top battery was installed to replace the stock battery.
